Dr. Miriam Zylberglait, affectionately known as Dr. Z, embarked on her medical journey at Universidad Cayetano Heredia in Peru, where she graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree. She further honed her expertise by obtaining a Master’s in Public Health and Epidemiology, which provided her with a robust foundation in evidence-based approaches to health and disease prevention. Her residency in Internal Medicine was completed at the prestigious Jackson Memorial Hospital, followed by a geriatrics specialization at Universidad Federico Villarreal – Hospital Naval del Perú, where she developed a deep understanding of aging-related health issues.

 

Dr. Z’s academic pursuits are complemented by a series of advanced certifications, including Triple Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Obesity Medicine, reflecting her comprehensive approach to patient care. Her education has been pivotal in shaping her holistic and preventative care philosophy, emphasizing the integration of physical health with mental and emotional well-being.
